Is there parking (Huntington, WV)?

This is our first trip. We are leaving from Huntington WV and I was wondering if there will be parking there at the station while we are in DC?

We will be long term parking I was wondering what we do if they are all taken. I plan on getting there early.

The local Amtrak number, according to Yellow Pages, is: (304) 523-7721

Don't know what hours someone might be there, but a call to a local station person might give you some answers.

Sometimes, though, when you call the local number at a small station it will automatically transfer you to Amtrak's main 800 number.

According to the Collis P. Huntington Historical site, which arranges for a New River Gorge tour each fall, there is a parking lot about a block from the station. Might check with the Chamber of Commerce if you cannot contact the Amtrak station directly. (304) 525-5131. They may offer some suggestions about parking options.
