Received a call today from a market research firm that wants to pay me $100 for two hours' worth of my thoughts about Amtrak. It would be on the evening of Thursday, Oct 21, the very time that I'll be near East Glacier Park, MT, headed west on the Builder. So because I'll be on Amtrak I can't talk about Amtrak.

This can be a funny world.

The woman didn't get more specific than "my thoughts and experiences about Amtrak" so I'll never know the exact purpose of the focus group or what I could have told them.
