A man was killed Monday morning in what appears to be the latest suicide attempt on the transit system.
The man, an adult, apparently jumped into the path of the Red Line train at White Flint around 10:15 a.m., according to Metro spokesman Dan Stessel.

He died under the train, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Capt. Oscar Garcia.

He only gets credited with an attempt? The attempt was successful.

Condolences to the train operator and everyone else involved in the aftermath.

The guy should be arrested and sentenced to hard labor for life!

Why do these people think it only affects them, and not their families, the train's employees, the passengers or the rescue workers?

If they were thinking rationally, they would not likely be committing suicide in the first place. Sad that someone is so despondent over their life situation that they no longer feel it can be fixed.
