Train Attendant
I was thinking about taking the lake shore to Chicago in coach was wondering if i can have dinner in the dining car
The selection in the cafe car has been downgraded too.No, coach passengers are no longer accommodated in the so-called dining car. You will only be able to order from the café car menu.
Actually Airlines on long haul 6+ hour routes would provide a free meal, even for economy pax. Even on transcon routes like JFK-LAX/SFO Delta now provides meals.Airline management at its finest. Economy=no food for you. Bring it with or wait until you get there. We'll sell you a small sandwich. Meals? Out of the question.
Now if they only realized you're traveling longer than 2-3 hours on an overnight train...
Some airlines I think are on their “Premium Service” trans cons, but not on all flights.I said that Delta is providing it on Transcon routes, not AA. I agree that AA has not followed suit on their transcon product.
