How much points do I need to go from Manassas, Virginia to Newark, New Jersey?

I currently have 3,500 and I'm like not understanding the map.

I'm going to guess MSS is in the east zone, not the NEC zone (don't have a map nearby). If it is, it would be 1-zone. If you don't have enough points for that, then you could consider paying for MSS to the southern endpoint of the NEC zone (WAS or ALC??) then use your points to continue in the NEC zone. You can mix pd w/points.

It looks like it's part of the NEC zone, as it's north of Lynchburg (which is the southern terminus for the NEC zone on that line.) So I think it's 4,000 points for coach class, if I'm understanding it correctly.

Yes, you are 500 points away from a one-way trip. Manassas to Newark NJ is within the Northeast Zone. A Northeast Zone one-way coach award ticket is 4000 points.

Note that it is 4,000 points for a ONE WAY trip, not round trip!

I typed ALX but the iPhone took a wrong turn and put the C instead of the X (they are right next to each other on the keyboard). Really need to proof read everything I type on the iPhone.
