This day was a great day. We got up too late to have the free breakfast at the hotel so we went to Dunkin Donuts. We had to keep repeating our order because the cashier couldn't understand what we wanted & when she tried to repeat it we couldn't understand what she was saying. This went on for a few minutes but we finally got what we wanted. We both got a donut. I got mine with milk & Louis got his with coffee.
After we ate, we took the Q32 bus to Rockefeller Center. Our first stop was the SNL standby line to surprise our best friend, Chris. I was really excited to see the look on his face. It was hard to keep the surprise from him but we did it. Chris was very happy to see us & I think he was surprised. We talked to him for a bit.
It started to rain, so we went inside the building to the concourse so Louis could charge his chair. While there, Bubba the sound guy for SNL, saw us. He got excited. He came over to talk to us & asked where we have been.
Louis' chair was fully charged so we went to the NBC lobby. We hung out with our friend, Steven. While we were talking to him, a lot of people from SNL/NBC/Rock Center security saw us. They were all very happy to see us. It was great seeing John MacDonald, Gena Rosatano, Wally Feresten & a few others.
At 6:30/7:00 p.m. we got hungry so we said goodbye to Steven. Louis & I went to Burger Heaven, then we took the bus back to our hotel.

. Keeping it a surprise was fun, too, and I'm glad your friend Chris was there! (Wouldn't work with anyone on here--if you try to surprise them, they are likely to be on a train trip on the other side of the country when you show up!
