Hopefully I'll find this forum helpful for my series of planned trips to the USA over the next few years. Having done a 7 week full trip across Canada (VIA, commuter rail in Toronto etc.) from late August to early October this year I hope to do similar in the USA. This will be travelling on passenger trains rather than linesie photography. Will need to be done in several 2-3 week long trips trips. Hopefully will soon be booking one starting in Montréal in May and travel on Amtrak in the north eastern corner plus MBTA, LIRR etc before heading back to Toronto.
