Never had the AmKFC. That seems to happen mostly when the diner breaks down mid trip rather than the severely late scenario doesn't it?
It was a long time ago on the Chief passing through Flagstaff a day or so behind schedule. I've told this before, but the conductor walked down the aisle, refusing to answer any questions or taking special requests. He kept saying "Box, Coke. Box, Coke."
It was actually pretty good, but the car reeked of KFC for the rest of the trip.
