So, in response to those of us who, survey after survey, have asked for K-9s to come on the RiverLine and for NJT police to ride it during off-peak hours, NJT instead decides to beef up security by recording our conversations.

I hope they've captured all my grumbling about how awful NJT is, how trashy (literally--stuff all over the floor) the trains are, how NJT is a laughingstock of commuter rail. I will remember to speak louder now to make sure they get it all.

Well, wonder of wonders--I rode the RiverLine on my commute this afternoon as usual, and it was quieter than it's ever been! Nobody was talking at all! Maybe the word got around about NJT recording conversations on the light rail, and we will now have a Quiet Car! :)

No eating or drinking is allowed on the RiverLine, so doubt he would bother. (Everyone does, though, of course, and throws their trash on the floor when finished, and nobody enforces the rule.)

He seems to have disappeared again, anyway--at least from NJ! :p
