So I've been taking the Keystone irregularly for the past couple of years, and whenever I bought a ticket from the machine or at the ticket office, it said it's valid for a year. IN the "not valid before/after" there would be today's date and then the date next year. Today was the first time I rode since e-ticketing started, and I was quite astonished when I saw that, even though it is an unreserved coach seat, it still has the day and time on it. I used to sometimes buy a ticket in advance and not use it and have it for the future. Does this mean it's impossible to do any more, even on unreserved trains?
