No Roomette Assignment

I booked a few weeks ago online a roomette on the EB from CHI to SEA, but haven't gotten an assignment. I have bought a roomette before on the CS and was given a room number immediately. Should I be concerned? Is this there something about this train that they don't assign rooms online? Thanks for any insights.
 
You are always assigned a specific roomette at the time of booking. Call 1-800-USA-RAIL and ask for you reservation to be emailed to you. It will have your roomette number on it!

Yes, you are assigned a room number, but it no longer shows on your paperwork. I had to call the 800 number and they verbally gave it to me. She even e-mailed my reservation, and there was no number.

Unless you reserve with an agent. If you do that, the email the agent sends DOES have the room number (just did that last month for a trip in a couple of weeks).

Knowing the room means that I will only use the website to find pricing and will book with an agent, until and unless the website displays available rooms.
 
If you book online thru the Amtrak website, your confirmation will not have your room assignment. However, you can then send an online message via the Amtrak website asking for your room assignment and you will receive an email with your assignment (usually within 24 hours).
