There are some hotels near the station. You could eat breakfast in one of those restaurants. Alternately, check out yelp and see what is around there.

Think it was 3 years ago the was a Denny's close enough to walk to, and their breakfasts are reasonable.

It is still there. I see it from the Ferry Building to Emeryville bus. I can't give directions because it has never been in my plan to go there since we usually don't have to do so. Should be able to figure it out from mapquest, or maybe somebody will come in here and give the directions.

If you aren't too particular there is a Subway directly across the street from the station and they are open for breakfast.

There is a Peet's Coffee directly across the tracks from the station -- just go over the bridge and it is straight ahead across the parking lot. It opens early and has the usual assortment of muffins, pastries, yogurt, etc., as well as coffee and tea.

I plan to stop at Dennys and later get coffee at the peet's and then stop at Subway for buy some lunch.
