Points to upgrade a coach fare?

No, you cannot. The closest to that is buying a pack of four one-class upgrade coupons (10,000 points) that permit upgrading a coach fare to business, or an Acela Business fare to First on a space available basis within 12 hours of travel. Upgrade to sleeper is not included with the coupons
Can you pay for a ticket with a combination of points and cash?
When the New and Improved AGR II was rolled out we were promised this feature, but IINM you still can't do this.

Anybody got a good sleeper upgrade via the bidding process recently?
