Railfanning Northern IL - Amtrak and Metra

During my trip to Chicago (trip report here), I was able to do some railfanning in Glenview, IL and Golf, IL, where I got see the Empire Builder and the Hiawatha routes.

This past weekend (9/3), I was able to return to Glenview, IL and do some railfanning.

I was able to be in the presence of the dash 8 on one of the Hiawatha routes (that I've been seeing over the past few weeks on Chicago & North Western Power House Live Webcam (North).
