I'm making a round trip. Is it possible to have one-way redemption and back in purchase in one reservation?

Not as a single reservation, but the agent can make one reservation (with points) for your outbound trip, and then collect money for the return trip under a separate reservation number. The net effect is the same.

If I'm understanding correctly, you are redeeming in one direction and paying for the other direction. Why not make 2 reservations?
Because I'd like to keep one trip in one reservation. Easier to remember the reservation number.

I did the SL last December LA to Temple...one way AGR redemption and the return paid. The AGR person just went ahead and made a separate reservation for each. Maybe its because the source of funds is different for each. Anyway, with a ticket (electronic or paper) I never bothered (or felt a need) to "remember" the reservation number.
