Go through the pictures at the bottom of the article. Looks like it should be all overwith by now. Notice the bleached area on the ground in one of the pictures. Looks like that is where the leaked acid went to, and now it has evaporated. Problem over. No real lasting problem. When hydrochloric acid reacts with something it releases clorine gas which promptly dissapates into the atmosphere. After it has blown away, it is all over. The question is, how much really leaked. From the look of the picture, maybe a goodly portion of what was in the tank car. If not, rerailing will be fun.
 
I wonder what caused the derailment. The tracks look fine with the truks still on the rail. Maybe a bad frog in that switch.
