I ride the CZ a few times each year and stayed a couple days in Glenwood Springs a couple years ago in the Hotel Denver directly across from the train station. The area of Glenwood Springs has several nice restaurants and shops and a couple blocks north of the tracks is a wonderful ice cream shop. If you are ever back in GW I highly recommend the Hotel Denver.

Enjoyed your report, but I agree with others, perhaps it was a bit too long and too much all at once. Get well soon, and please come back again, maybe with a shorter and less intense itinerary.
