Thank you! The photos go back to the time when each click of the Instamatic shutter cost money, and as the article said, I was low on film. It was sort of scary, thinking that I might miss something when I ran out of exposures.

Wow, you remind me of my high school Europe trip, where I went through five 24 exposure rolls of film in 5 countries, one per country. Unlike most of my colleagues, I mostly took pictures of the other students participating in activities, and bought a ton of postcards. I figured the postcard people could take much better pictures than I could. I bought a roll of postcard stamps in each country, wrote short happy notes to relatives, under the condition that they return all the postcards to me after the trip for a scrapbook.

Canfranc Station has been restored and put to hotel use. Discussions about restoration of the route on the French side continue. It sounds pie in the sky - but so did the station restoratio.

In the meantime the service on SNCF was cut back further/farther down the hill. I have seen an item about local folks restoring the Bedous station.
