are the "spices" identified?

Atlantic Cod fishing has essentially been halted since the 1990s because they heavily overfished Cod throughout its range.

Though they ceased fishing Atlantic Cod the species has not recovered, and is labelled vulnerable on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.

Various sources have mentioned that most of the fish we are sold is not actually the species of fish claimed to be in the package.

I would not be surprised if the fish is actually Haddock.

That picture reminds me of my first dinner on a train, my dad and I could not figure out what the yellow veggie was. Quote my dad to the LSA "What are those yellow things that taste like carrot?" LSA- "Yellow carrots"

Did you know that back several hundreds of years ago, before humans genetically altered carrots, they were purple.

Today purple, black, red, white, and yellow varieties of carrots also exist.

Many don't realize humans have been genetically altering food and animals for thousands of years.

Legend has it that carrots were originally yellow, purple and other colors, but that during the period Holland was occupied by the Spaniards, Dutch farmers bred the orange variety, Orange was at the time the colour of the Dutch rebellion (being a pun on the name of the leader of the rebellion and ancestor of the present royal family, William of Orange). When questioned the farmers could claim they didn't know why the carrots were all turning orange and the Spaniards couldn't work out whether there was any intent behind it. Anyway, the color caught on and soon they were outselling the traditional types.

I just had the cod on the Silver Meteor. I ordered it without the rub and it was very good. My tablemates had it with the spice rub and they enjoyed their meals also.
