steps to get onto the train

Thanks again for all the advice. You folks really are the Font of All Knowledge. I really don't need to use a lift; I'll just take my time going down the steps and hope I don't have somebody in a hurry behind me.

I was going to say that these are the steps to getting on an Amtrak train:

1) Determine your destination

2) Make reservation (if necessary)

3) Exchange tender for eTicket

4) Arrive at station before the train does

5) Gently step onto train before it leaves
