Storing scooter before taking Auto Train?

Taking the auto train on the 16th of this month. I am shipping my scooter & I need to bring it down the day before to return the transport vehicle to its orig. location. will they(Amtrak)let me leave it there untill my departure date (nxt. day) if not, any suggestions ? Can't find secure parking near the area. also is there a direct phone # for the station in lorton? anyone , thanx in advance!! keith (Newbee)
