Hey, this is a new one. I just noticed that the points for Thruway bus segment with a travel date of 12/25/2009 posted on 1/9/2010, without me having to call, write, fax etc.

I wonder if AGR is doing better with Thruway segments, or is this a fluke?

Was the bus an Amtrak California one, or a contractor?
Amtrak California buses are operated by a contractor. I think it's Coach USA. They've been getting better. Last week in EMY the driver turned the tickets in at the window right after the bus arrived.

Unless there's been another change in contractors, Coach USA doesn't do any of the Emeryville routes. They seem to do quite a number of the ones out of Bakersfield.

In my experience bus drivers leaving Emeryville turn in their ticket stubs *before* departing. This doesn't make them post any faster; it really depends on when the station folks get around to entering the ticket information.

Actually the tickets are mailed to Texas where machines process them all.

I've always had trouble with my points posting from Shoebuy but I nailed 1300 points and they posted this week! Being a delivery driver I burn through work shoes and used to use Famous Footwear until they disappeared.
