The airport is about to begin a three year $1 billion massive overhaul that will consolidate the two terminals ("Landside" and "Airside") into one building. Will completely transform the entire facility.

I found the website about the project -- very interesting. (In brief, it appears that they're going to build a new "landside" building right next to the "airside" building, which also involves building new parking garages, roadways, etc.)
