VTA (San Jose) still not running after shooter incident.

My daughter just informed me that the mass shooter took out controls in addition to lives and the trains are still out of service.

Based on this blog post from the transit authority, it seems like the big issue is having employees be comfortable with working at the location of the shooting (which is perfectly understandable).

They also mentioned on the news they have to rebuild one of the buildings because of damage. So reports of controls being damaged make sense

I would like to see previous bulletins that the transit authority justified the one central facility. This is earthquake country and as such you should never put all your eggs in one basket. Last time visited the area was surprised all that real-estate used in downtown Never thought it was the only one.

This should be a lesson to all larger rail and even bus systems.
