Apparently whoever was running the camera was also curious -- he zoomed in on the car number later in the video.
And apparently whatever problem was sending it to the shop reared it's ugly head, as the train sat at Elkhart for half an hour and workers were looking under the rear of that car with flashlights, under the supervision of the conductor.

Weird. Was it originally a diner? What's on the downstairs level?
Yes, info on the web says there are 5 of them and they were converted from diners.

I don't know anything about the interior layout.
I doubt they did anything with downstairs....
If I recall correctly the two red lights on the back went out so they had to wait for a FRED to be attached.
There was some discussion about that on the VR chat. Why would they be looking under the car with flashlights? Is that where they tap into the power?
