Wifi on Coast Starlight

As I head northbound on the Coast Starlight, my Coach, 31018 is equipped with a Amtrak Connect Wifi connection. While it can be connected to, no internet connection is present. Is this a new program rolling out, or have I just been out of the loop?

Seems like the superliner's are getting the equipment but the brains have yet to be installed in the trains yet.

Did you open your browser and accept their terms and conditions?

An Amtrak Connect page should appear.

Or, perhaps you are in an area with no cell coverage which their WiFi depends on.

Already tried. Nothing there. It's as if the routers are installed but network connectivity isn't installed. Like CCC1007 said.

Wifi was working on both southbound Starlight trainsets I was lucky enough to ride on April 29/30.
