WiFi (on Silver Meteor)?

Can someone please remind me, do you have to sign in with a password? Is it secure? We'll be on the Silver Meteor. Thanks in advance of your responses.

No password is needed - you need to sign on and agree to terms. The wifi is Amtrak Connect and is shared with everyone on the train. I would not consider it secure.

WiFi on the Meteor is OK. I cant get You Tube or Netflix.

Doesn't Amtrak also block low bandwidth audio? The last time I tried to use AmtrakConnect every type of streaming was blocked and only asynchronous text sites like forums and email were reachable.

the section I retrieved from the website says "streaming media" It does not refer to either audio or video, I'd guess both, but don't know for sure....
