WIFI Upgrade on NEC?

I travel a lot between DC and NYC, but the poor quality of WIFI service has been horribly frustrating.

I recently was on an Acela with the new, improved 4G-based WIFI, and it was terrific - good service all the way! Earlier, many naysayers had said this would be impossible! :hi:

When will upgrade be put on the regional?

I heard that all Acela trains were upgraded to 4G as of last month. I rode the Acela last week and was SUPER impressed with the WiFi speed. I was even able to hold a VPN session and it was very responsive. I was generally unable to use the connection under the "old" WiFi speed and was really blown away with how well it worked this time. Don't know about Regionals.
