How is the long term parking there? I have not departed from the station in a number of years. Before the fire the parking area was not defined well and spaces were few and at a premium. Hopefully the renovation of the station included a real parking lot with additional spaces.

I am under the impression AGR agents can submit "workable connections" not in the reservation system to their supervisors for review and possible inclusion for that traveler and future travelers. I have seen posters on FlyerTalk request plausible connections not permitted on the reservation...

I side with you Jim on this matter. On the few occasions utilizing the CA Lounge in BOS my experience do not find those attendants warm and fuzzy.

In checking with an Amtrak agent today I was told that the Accessible Bedroom can be reserved within two weeks of travel by passengers without a disability. The kicker though, according to the Agent, is that it can only be booked if all other available Bedrooms are sold on the date of travel...

To elaborate using amsnag.net, you can request "fare watch" to track changes in sleeper prices. I did a quick look at fares on AmSnag from NOL to ATL for next week and find roomettes generally going for $136 (4/23 was $224) and bedrooms when available as low as $178.

Thanks for all of the responses. So if I summarize correctly, the train makes one quick stop with sleeping car passengers boarding at one location and coach passengers towards the opposite end of the consist. If someone could please confirm it would be appreciated.
