The folder represents common types. There were a lot of oddball types in service until the Amfleet I and Superliner 1 cars replaced most of them.

When I rode the National Limited in the late 1970's, the train had a hodge podge of cars.

I rode the CONO in the early 1970's using the pre-ATK IC fleet. domes, sleepers and all. IIRC, we were led by IC E-units. Even used CHI's Central Station.
