Amtrak commercials

I've seen multiple Amtrak ads on a variety of channels here in New Jersey over at least the last week if not longer.

I think the commercials need a jingle. That's the problem with commercials these days. We don't need to watch them so they have to be catchy, informative or funny. I doubt you can have a funny Amtrak commercial (other than if they were to use the word luxury...that's pretty funny to me) and it is only informative to someone seeking the information.

Therefore, it is quite clear that a good old fashioned jingle is needed.

Tonight's ( Sat 4/16)Round Rock Express Game was Sponsored by Amtrak which is also a Season Long Sponsor. Several Announcements were done over the PA and a Video was played on the Jumbo Tron about riding Amtrak to Discover America!.

When tonight's Eagle (#21)rolled by they played Johnny Cash singing "Folsom Prison Blues" and the PA announcer did an "All Aboard for Austin!" call!

Therefore, it is quite clear that a good old fashioned jingle is needed.

I'm a jingle collector (yes, there are such things), and I agree with this. "All Aboard Amtrak" in the '80s was very memorable.
