Hello all. Found this site while looking for anything to do with AMTRAK. I'm new to AMTRAK travel, but, not at all new to travel in general. I had the option for an upcoming trip to either fly home or take the train... I opted for the train because it sounded like fun and I've never taken long distance trains before. I have a trip booked from Newport News, VA to Rochester, NY in early October and looking for any insights anyone has or any tips. I'm looking forward to it, I'm traveling on the northeast regional (#66) and the Maple leaf from NYP to ROC (#63).
