I recently purchased a Onewheel and think it would be awesome to bring one on the train. However I know they ban hoverboards, presumably due to their batteries. Would I be allowed to bring a Onewheel as a carry on or checked item or would this be prohibited?
im wondering what the status is for scooters and battery assisted bikes also.
I noticed a guy riding a one wheel, it’s in the center of a flat board so to say, I guess it’s what you have. What’s the difficulty riding it. Looks sketchy. This Reddit post suggests they're chill about Onewheels at least.

I would just slip it inside of an old army duffel-bag and carry it on as normal baggage.
(You didn't plan on using it during the trip, I,m guessing.)
I certainly hope not for the $1400 they ask for it.As far as I can tell, Onewheel is not that kind of garbage.
