I would say I was surprised but I'm not completely delusional.

This wheel problem seems to have some undisclosed problem. This poster wonders if it is something to do with aluminum. When AL heats up it has some fluid flow of what is a solid. If the wheels or Axels have AL components that may be why the agency cannot give an in service time before January or even later. Brake heating of the wheel and axels might be the problem. Remember this is just speculation.
