Earning TQP With EVoucher

I have an upcoming round trip from Fullerton to Bakersfield via the Pacific Surfliner and Amtrak Thruway Bus. The total cost for two is $157.50. My portion totaled $81. I was able to lower the total cost $75 with the online use (very easy) of a EVoucher. Normally I would expect to receive 100 TQP per trip on my itinerary. Should I have any concern not earning 200 TQP for the roundtrip since an EVoucher was used?

Was the voucher for an unused paid ticket or was it a compensation voucher (goodwill, like for a bad trip)? :huh:

Compensation vouchers do not earn points, but unused tickets do!

To add to the traveler's point- if you are using compensation vouchers, use them for partial payment for tickets under $50, or for partial payment of Acela between 500/750 point city pairs to get your full point value.

The voucher was a refund from a drop in my sleeper accommodation price (September Auto Train trip) after the initial reservation was paid. With the assistance of AmSnag I had noticed a decline in my roomette price. I quickly called the reservation line to modify my paid reservation and was credited for the difference with an EVoucher since the trip was less than 15 days out.
