Or consider the following: Buy what you can on say your account. Transfer enough points, namely the 2,000 from his account to your account. Now, buy a roomette one way with him listed first to help replenish the 2K he transfered and use your points for the other direction. Then if need be, buy a few more points for his account so as to have enough for the ABQ trip. Of course you could reverse the roles, but either way I'd bet that would still work out cheaper than paying for the entire CZ trip and using points only for the ABQ trip.
