That was just the most beautiful gesture I've heard or read in weeks, reminiscent of my late Grandma; she had a way of drawing out gold from poison. Thank you for that, and also for the effect it will have on the other AU members! Happy gobble gobble!

Happy Thanksgiving to all. I am very thankful that I am AU member - AU members have assisted me in accomplishing two cross country trips and helped me plan my future cross countries trip (next week). I want to give a special thank you to those AU members (you know who you are) that have been very patient with me and gone above and beyond the call of duty to make my train trips very special.

I also want to mention that I am thankful that Dave, Betty and Tom are on the mend.

Just finished dinner and where do we go? Most go walking or to sleep, us Amtrakians come to the discussion board to see what we missed! Heaven forbid a late train and we don't know about it! We are outspoken as heck, disagree and an expert on everything Amtrak, and always have a good time just being ourselves.

A Very Happy Thanksgiving to All. After five years of traveling Amtrak, we have met so many great people, among them the fine members of this group. To those of you we have met and those yet to greet--Happy Amtraking.

Claudia's foot is nearly back to normal and we begin plotting our next trip on the rails. Hope to see some of you in Fla in January.
