Hello all. I am a long-time lurker but first-time poster. I am from Maine.

Starting late next week, I will be going all around the country on the discounted USA Rail Pass. Once that is complete, I estimate that I will have ridden over 15,000 miles of Amtrak's network in my lifetime across 44 of the 46 states that it serves.

I will be leaving on the 23rd from Boston on Train #67. I will then have the day in Washington before getting on the Crescent to New Orleans. The next day I will take the City of New Orleans to Chicago, connecting to the Southwest Chief. After two nights in San Diego I will come back to Boston on the Texas Eagle and Lake Shore Limited, stopping for a night in Chicago on the way.
