I've been a train admirer for years now, having traveled only the CA coast. My dream is finally coming true--a cross-country round trip. It took nearly 20 years to make time for, but better late than never!

So just for the record, I called, and it is NOT possible to get those referral points retroactively! I thought maybe it was, but nope.
