It's been another one of those winters where the East gets all the snow and cold. The West looks like the rest of the winter will be warm and dry, after only a couple of good months. In California, they are talking about another year of drought due to the dismally low snowpack. As you go east into the Rockies, things seems to get better, at least at higher elevations.
