What dates? I’m guessing you’re looking at dates when NS (freight owns the tracks) is doing their annual track maintenance south of Atlanta. There is a bus available to book.

As a wild guess, if you only checked one date and host railroad track work prevents Amtrak from running between those two points on that date, only alternate routes will be offered.

Try other dates or the first station out of NOL.

Usually the work starts the 2nd week of JAN and ends some week in FEB. That is Monday - Thursday.
