Good to know, but what's the source?
PS. I still am of the opinion Amtrak IT has an issue. Something never should have been half updated. Action should have been held off until it was a certainty and then show as cancelled everywhere on the system, or shown with a bus bridge without full cancellation, whatever reflected the intended operational scheme. The way it was handled on the IT side was simply incompetent. I am actually more concerned with the IT side of this and the 30 car issue on 5/6 than the train operation itself. If the system is presenting bad information, the passengers are still likely to get screwed even if the train runs correctly, witness the passengers who had reserved rooms and didn't get them on 5/6, or nuger93 cancelling part of his trip in response to bad information. And neither the website nor Amtrak agents have any information beyond what the core system of record, Arrow, presents to them, be it correct or incorrect.
