I feel it’s important to point out that a lot of people here are saying Amtrak’s flex meals are comparable to offerings in international coach. That’s not a fair comparison.

Amtrak’s sleepers are supposed to be a premium service. For the huge prices Amtrak charges, passengers should get something closer to the service provided in international first or business class.

I mean, even before I stopped flying I didn't eat the meals in international air coach.
