20 minutes into the trip and plumbing pea trap busted for the sink in my room and poured water everywhere.

Waiting for a fix in my Bedroom

That Beggar's Pizza slice was quintessential Chicago-style deep-dish pizza; the hubby would have loved it! The train-themed decorations on the Christmas tree in CUS were certainly appropriate. I think I've probably walked down those stairs which were featured in that scene from "The Untouchables," but it was a very long time ago, probably back in my college days.
It sounds like you're traveling solo in a bedroom on the EB? The hubby had similar issues with the ensuite toilet/shower in our bedroom on the Texas Eagle. Good to hear that you were switched to a room in better repair!

Yup, Roomette booked originally then booked the upgrade last min for $380ish no browner IMO. More details on that in my intro thread.

Thanks for the report and photos! Look forward to more as you go. Cell service gets spotty as you get into Montana, then nonexistent through the Rockies. You'll have good service again the last morning.
Thanks, yeah downloaded some movies but will prob be chilling in the room.

Lucky I am off work for two weeks so mainly posting here and taking pics.
Thanks for the trip report!

When I'm in a Bedroom, I always take a shower downstairs. The shower is much larger, and it doesn't get my toilet all wet.

Yeah it was a chore fitting my 6 foot 275lb body into the bedroom shower. Just wipped it down with towels afterward and all good.
