I disagree. I think they should go all Amfleet II or improve some Amfleet Is to LD standards and run those cars. Then block all short-distance travel south of ALB.Honestly, notwithstanding the insistence of the border folks to put people in one class or another, I wish they'd cut back to a single Am-II, move the cafe to one side of it and the Am-Is, and sell the Am-II as an upgrade. I know I'd have tossed an extra $20-30 down for that without blinking.
Inside joke, right? :blink:IF she gets back!See you when you get back then. She got into Canada, but the question is can she get into the US?
Not for me!I think its a joke about the different standards used by the border guards. Its easier to get into Canada then out of it.
Penny will have free WiFi at her hotel. So I suspect that once she secures dinner, she'll be along. And she can't even defend herself right now because she doesn't have mi-fi access.
No, that means she's taken up temporary residence in Canada.Penny is staying at the Residence Inn, so she must be a Resident of Canada, eh?

Although I do have to say that this trip was actually easy for me, both ways. But most times going to is a big problem. Not for me!I think its a joke about the different standards used by the border guards. Its easier to get into Canada then out of it.
Nope, not at all. She'll only be there 1 night, before moving on. Although she will return for another night, before again moving on.Is that like the "temporary suspension" of the SL-East?AlanB said:1346806193' post='391765']No, that means she's taken up temporary residence in Canada.the_traveler said:1346805759' post='391762']Penny is staying at the Residence Inn, so she must be a Resident of Canada, eh?
She knows where the First Class lounge is and they'll make sure she gets on the train.Maybe she'll make a wrong turn and get on a train to Ottawa instead!(Am I in trouble now? She has my text number!)

If you found a taxi driver who didn't know where Rue Peel was, then you were better off walking!I am back at the hotel after dinner. Even though I an attempting to speak the little French that I have learned in the last few months, no one would mistake me for a resident of Montreal. Thanks to Alan's detailed and brilliant directions, I found my way to the hotel (in the rain). Because of the rain, I thought about taking a cab, but when the taxi driver told me he did not know where the hotel was (and I did), I decided to walk and saved $10.
I have my ticket for Halifax already and I know where the lounge is located.
No, the rain was not colder, but I was cold when I got into my room. The thermostat is in Celsius and I do not know how to convert. I had to go to Google to determine where to set my thermostat. I increased it from 21 to 24, and I am comfortable, for now.Hey Penny, is Canadian rain colder than U.S rain?
