Looking at the Amtrak status page it looks like 48 is heading to NYP, even though other Empire service is heading to NYG.

Whatever the motivations I'm glad I booked my trip on the CZ and CONO for this September / October.

Looking at Amtrak's status map it looks like 48 is heading towards NYP even though the rest of Empire service is still going to and from NYG. I'm guessing 48 will have the honor of being the first train post construction. I assume that Empire service will return to NYP tomorrow?
